Leak at the bath sink drain? inspect for tightness, check for washer placement or look for any cracks. Most of these assemblies are made of ABS or plastic and the plastic washers are tapered to seal as they get tighter NOTE: be careful not to over tighten or this can result in a fine hairline crack and difficult to diagnose. Also do not use any plumbers putty on cultured or marble basins because over time the chemicals will eat away the sink drain hole and cause more problems for you, use 100% silicone here instead and be generous, as you tighten the excess will fill any voids and cover well. Bath sink leak around rim of the top on top? clean grout or caulk at rim edge and redo, inspect grout on and around counter at top and re-grout. The tile, fuax or cultured materials on the counter top need to be sealed at any seams and or grout lines to avoid penetration below

Bath sink leak around Faucet Handle? Or Drips? disassemble valve stem washer @ hot or cold handle, get make and model, replace with rebuild O-ring kit. Cant shut off Supply Valve under bath sink? This is commonly called the angle stop, they are not difficult to replace once you know the mechanics here, shut off supply @ house main and disassemble, if copper and soldered on then it will need to be cut off and either soldered again or a compression application is okay, almost all others can be removed and replaced with a adjustable wrench and a pair of channel locks. Because the nut that goes over the pipe coming out of the wall has been fit wit a tapered washer that binds as it gets tightened, so you will replace with a new like item of same application.
