OIL base vrs. WATER base: In the years that have past just like in every other field of expertise, the painting industry got many a bad rap with the EPA and the result ended that the paint manufactures have reinvented water base paint. The lead in the oil paints was what made oils superior but the lead was the culprit for the EPA. So many a professional painter these days like the water base products just as much if not more the the oils. And clean up can be obtained with warm soapy water and no disposal issues it’s win-win for all. The DIY Painter has only the colors to deal with, everything else is a snap. Cut it in and roll it out and clean it up.
